EA Research Group (EARG) delivers structured, high-impact training and workshops aimed at strengthening research capacity, academic competitiveness, and professional readiness among students, early-career researchers, and practitioners. These trainings are a core part of EARG’s mission to build a sustainable pipeline of skilled researchers in Ghana and beyond.
Our programs bridge the gap between theory and practice by combining classroom instruction, hands-on application, and mentorship from experienced academics and research professionals. Key focus areas include research design and methodology, qualitative and quantitative data collection, ethics and responsible research conduct, academic and scientific writing, proposal and grant development, data analysis, and monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL).
Training is delivered through in-person workshops, seminars, short courses, and field-based practical sessions, often linked to ongoing research projects. This applied approach ensures participants gain practical skills, strengthen their academic portfolios, and build confidence. Through these programs, EARG supports national and global development priorities by preparing researchers to generate evidence that informs policy, innovation, and sustainable development.
